August is over!! Summer is over!! How in the world did this happen?? This means my baby girl will be headed to KINDERGARTEN next week!! (send all the tissues now)

I've been trying to soak up all the summer moments as I know we are entering a new phase of life with school aged kiddos. Maybe this helps explain the horrible over share I have this month?? There's a lot. So please, if you will, get comfy and I'll get to this month's share!!

Please remember to jump on over to the talented Katie Woodard's blog next to see her freelensed August!!

First up is a trip to Pine Lake. It was a hot day, so a trip to the lake that evening was in order. I brought my camera 'just in case'. And thank goodness I did....the way the setting sun hit the water was breathtaking. I was dying to say the least! <3

Next was a visit over to North Bend and Tollgate Farm Park. (We've been making an effort to explore the local towns and places nearby this summer!) You may notice the haze. No it was not foggy. It was hot and smokey!! We experienced about a week and half of heavy smoke from some Canadian wildfires at the time. We enjoyed seeing the cows, blowing 'wishers', picking flowers, playing on the playground and then venturing over to Scott's Dairy Freeze downtown! Yum!!

You may or may not already know that I am a moderator over at The Freelensed on Instagram. This month I did a tutorial about reverse freelensing. (detaching your lens and flipping it around to create a macro look) I compared three different lenses. (50mm, 28mm, and the Helios 44) As you can see the different focal lengths create different looks. Here are a few of the images I took for that tutorial! (shameless plug...check out The Freelensed on IG this week.....we have GIVEAWAYS ALL WEEK LONG!!!!!)

This next group of images is from a trip down to Vancouver to visit family and to house hunt (WE ARE MOVING BACK!!!!!!) We went with my brother and his family to the 'secret spot' at a nearby creek. Crayfish hunting was the excitement of the trip!

Misty (dry rain) walks.

We visited nagypapa (my dad) and Laura for a BBQ. I didn't take many photos. But I loved these.....wearing all of Laura's old necklaces and the joys of walkie talkies!!

I don't know. Maybe you heard there was an eclipse this year across the US? For the event, everyone picked their very favorite cereal and we made cereal box projectors. ...Because maybe someone...(couldn't have been me)...didn't buy glasses before they sold out! It was a fun craft and thankfully a neighbor let us borrow their glasses!! We live in 93% totality. Next time I'm buying the solar filter...

Doughnut shop treats and being able to pick your very own doughnut!!

Finally! Finally! (this is the end!) Some hula hooping action! <3 <3 <3
