September + October || Free 52

Welcome to a double share of the Free 52! As a group we skipped out on September, so I am about to share with you our freelensed September AND October!! Honestly, this is not everything, I'm not even including all the freelensing from my daughter's 6th birthday photo session. For that, you will have to wait for another post. In the mean time, have a seat, relax, and take in the last two months :) (It's been busy!) Don't forget, when you are done, travel on over to the talented Gwen to see her Free 52 September + October!

First up is September! This month was full of freelensed self portraits shared on the Instagram hub, The Freelensed, that I moderate for, smokey days that created red window light, a visit to Snoqualmie Falls and the downtown train station and ice cream shop, visits to Lake Sammamish, relaxing at home and finally a fun photo shoot organized by a photog friend in Maple Valley!

If you are still with me, here is October! We moved the first weekend of October back to the Portland/Vancouver area!! And despite being busy with that....still managed to squeeze in some freelensing! First up is some of the new light I've been excited to explore in our new home! (please excuse the dishes ;) ) Then on to the beautiful morning light and fog that we find some mornings waiting for the bus. After that is some spooky evening fog on the way back from a post-dinner walk. And because freelensing is apparently the only way I feel comfortable getting in front of the lens, a set of freelensed self portraits for an Instagram loop that I participated in. This month was also my daughter's 6th birthday, as I mentioned above. One evening we made her a leaf crown and took some photos.....however, her official 6th birthday photo session remains un-edited! (in my defense I only took them last week since her birthday was on the 26th!!) And lastly, we played with some twinkle lights!
