February || Free 52

Hello!

I am excited that you are here! I really am! I feel like this is my first 'REAL' blog post that I will be sharing! Yay!! My site is still in a state of simplicity. It should all work...but it's not very done or pretty yet. But I am so excited to finally give it a go.

So this year I joined The Free 52, to share my favorite weekly freelensed images. If you've followed my Instagram over the past  year while I completed my first 365, you may have noticed that freelensing has quickly become one of my favorite ways to shoot. There is something about the light, the focus, the bokeh....ah....I love all of it! I just love the FEEL of freelensing! <3 Take a scroll through just the highlights of this month. If you feel so inclined, you can also search back two posts to see my images from January....minus the commentary!

This first set is from when we got almost a foot of snow that lasted about three days. The kids enjoyed it...I am glad it didn't stay long!

Lately my kiddos are into flashlights...all. the. time. So we've done a lot of reading and dancing by flashlight!

Experimenting with reverse freelensing.

The rest of the month was full of puddle jumping, doughnut shops, and visiting grandma and grandpa!

Yay if you are still with me! This final group is a set of freelensed self-portraits. I am also completing a P52 - In the Frame, so I decided to merge my two projects! Achieving these involved stacking boxes, a step stool, legos and my remote trigger on my phone!
